When we converse with our peers, we either interpret what we are hearing as either a negative, neutral, or positive point of view. This interpretation can sometimes be clouded by our own feelings and biases, which have the negative power to misconstrued the point being made. That is why we should not jump to conclusions by assuming the worst without having all the facts in front of us. The moment we make our interpretation known we have to stand by our chosen understanding because if we chop and change our standpoint with the direction that the wind is going then we will lose any impact our words will have in future conversations. Our patterns of behaviour will eventually determine how we are viewed by either enhancing our credibility or disarming it. This is why it is important that you build a solid foundation that is supported by your core beliefs rather than choosing to follow a crowd that's thought process isn't going in the same direction that you'd want to go. Keep in mind that it is better to be alone and proud than with a crowd of people that you're not proud to stand with.
