With such diversity of peoples opinions its easy to find stigma in most minority groups. Feminist movement focuses on equal rights for women but a lot of women dont want to be attached to the stigma that joining the movement embraces. Transgender spectrum is becoming ever so popular as growing numbers are created by its members, you would think it was safe to assume that transgender people would be on board but not all transgender people support the idea that they are part of a large spectrum. Stigmas are attached to many groups because when people who try to speak on the behalf of others claim to know your rightful standing they soon discover that people have their own opinion and do not want to be forced into a group that they do not recognise as morally correct. This presumption unwillingly deters its so called supporters because their choice to choose where they belong has now been taken away from them. People will go with who they believe is in-line with the way they think and will not follow those who try to convince them to change the way they think. If you liked it you dont need to be asked to join because you would eagerly do the asking.
