The word addiction gets thrown around to easily and the negative connotations stays with the person who has been wrongfully labelled as an addict. Passion is now construed into an obsession, and is seen as an uncontrollable negative force that overtakes a lifestyle with only one purpose in mind, to distract he or she from being a productive member of a society. Those who put people into categories believe that the addicts should use their time more effectively by doing what is considered more meaningful than what ever their so called addiction has in mind. People who are passionate about Sports, Games the Gym or any other interests that they may choose to follow willingly would rather commit their free time to one focus point and because of this rational may be considered to others as addicts. Passionate and happy should be a good enough reason why the so called addicts should be able to do what they like with their own free time.
