LIVING A SHELTERED EXISTENCE

There is a misconception in society that older people are assumed to have had much more life experiences than the younger generation in the community because being alive longer usually translates to living a full life. If most of your life consists of someone else doing everything for you and you live a life where you refuse to reach out, you will only be left with a shallow view. The world is much more complicated than what happens in one persons life, so open your mind to the younger generation and try to adapt to the ever-changing world, and you'll have an edge on those who refuse to adapt. So get a different perspective to the life that you may lead and don't neglect the person you could be.

We live in a world where its harder to say what you feel because we don't want to offend our friends and family. It takes an enormous amount of courage to stand up for what you believe in, because the consequences may result in standing alone. If you can't be honest with those who are close to you then who can you be honest with ? Truth may seem harsh but the alternative means living a lie that doesn't represent your stand. So brace your views and let people inside who you really are.

FUSSY FOR FRIENDS

I don't have many true friends, i find that its hard to make friends that i can feel confident that they will go out of their way for me or at least show me the respect that i would show them. I don't have a lot of spare time which makes me more less tolerant for the lies people say. I find people keep a lot of what they are thinking to themselves which makes me feel that they are holding a lot of themselves back. Why should a start a friendship with someone who can only handle my honesty in small amounts. If you can't be yourself to people than its better to wait till you can with the right people.
