There is a misconception in society that older people are assumed to have had much more life experiences than the younger generation in the community because being alive longer usually translates to living a full life. If most of your life consists of someone else doing everything for you and you live a life where you refuse to reach out, you will only be left with a shallow view. The world is much more complicated than what happens in one persons life, so open your mind to the younger generation and try to adapt to the ever-changing world, and you'll have an edge on those who refuse to adapt.
