This movie connects to the dark side of dc comics in a way other superhero movies couldn't. When Batman is manipulated by Lex Luthor he believes Superman is he's nemesis and then creates a plan to take on the Man of Steel with the help of kryptonite as his choice of weapon. This begins the rivalry that creates action that batman and superman supporters are forced to choose their side, who is good and who is the bad superhero. Wonder woman played a small role in the movie which was disappointing knowing that her story is as interesting as the other stars. The movie did manage to connect you to a obvious dc sequel which would have been a challenge for director Zack Snyder to tie it in the movie without taking away the attention from this movie. A good movie that the story paced itself well enough not to make it just about the action and the action showed you the superheroes are both a force to be reckoned with. Watch or play recommends the movie to those who like action with superheroes thrown in the mix.
