MAINSTREAM MEDIA VERSUS ALTERNATIVE MEDIA

I keep on hearing the misconception that main stream media is one sided pushing its opinion on its viewers and that alternative media always offers a raw view untainted from reality of whats happening in the now without personal bias and judgement. Whether it's mainstream or alternative media both are edited news platforms pushing a narrative and both still have an agenda because there is no such thing as an opinion without bias. We make our opinions based on own bias, whether we make it based on the little information we see or we make our opinion on what we didn't see its our own wants and needs that is steered by our own bias. It is impossible to get the whole picture because we can't be involved in every part of the situation so we have to rely on the little information we get which usually involves us digging deep from within our own personal experience and using our wits to work out what is the closest truth and make a judgement call that we use to back up with our own bias opinion. Those who get manipulated by false news let themselves be manipulated because it is their defence mechanism that protects them from making their own mind up and then they can blame those who pushed them on the wrong track because they were misinformed.
