THE STOLEN

After the devastating loss of her husband and her only son being kidnapped by outlaws a desperate widow chooses to navigate through the dangers of land to do whatever it takes to rescue her son. On the journey she traverses the lands where the chance of survival is slim especially for a well off widow who knows nothing about the dangers that awaiting around each corner. On her long journey she manages to build friendships with those she would have never associated with and who have managed to help teach her that she must harden up if she were to rescue her baby boy. The scenery in this movie is breathtaking, the story is captivating but on the few times where scenes wanted a situation to happen it felt that stupid decisions were made and the sense was lost just so we can see the anticipation build. This is a movie that is okay to watch but could of been a whole lot better if it flowed naturally without forcing certain situations just to build on the action. A Watch or Play just average rating.
