A HAUNTED HOUSE (2013)

A mock movie of paranormal activity isn't such an easy task and this movie didn't rise to the challenge. The jokes were predictable and seemed to go on and on. Times where it could of elaborated it fell short and left you guessing what was the point of that scene. The movie was running out of ideas and the only thing that seemed right was to throw in the scenes which probably should of been in the deleted scenes basket. Being a mock comedy horror it seemed to have any easy out that helped blend bad acting and made it seem intentional with a script that complimented the amateur event. If your able to watch the movie in full than your tolerance is better than the average Joe for my rating of this waste of time would be crap on film.

DREDD (2012)

Having seen Judge Dredd I thought, that the Dredd movie was going to follow in it's previous Stallone version footsteps. But the latest Dredd movie did to Judge Dredd what Batman Begins in 2005 did to the Batman franchise. It replaced Schneider funny gags with R rated action. It reflected action without the fear of how would people still enjoy the action if they cant stare at screen with the gore of death shown. It seemed to use use its R rating to the full and not filling up scenes with Rambo style invincibility. The slo-mo drug brought matrix style action to a new heightened level. A must watch for any Action movie, but if your looking for a gimmick then stick to Stallone's version.
