JUST PRETEND
At a young age we are introduced to what is right and what is considered wrong through childrens books and Disney movies. We are shown that being bad no matter the situation will lead to a negative outcome. This is instilled to our kids to steer them away from the wrong path and to make sure they never cross the line. Kids enjoy role playing from time to time by acting out and using their imagination to pretend to be the baddie from movies and games they watch and play. Some people, believe that the temptation might lead to negative lifestyle choices if the kids play the roles of the darker side. Kids aren't adults they only know what is fun is not real and it's only for pretend but it's the pedantic adult who puts too much emphasis on the role playing child and makes judgements of the innocence.

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings
The free bird thinks of another breeze
and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees
and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn
and he names the sky his own.
But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams
his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing
The caged bird sings
with a fearful trill
of things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird
sings of freedom.
