It all begins with respect, we can only trust someone if we have a mutual respect and by trusting someone it gives us reason to persist in a relationship with them. It is respect that connects us to each other and without it we don't have a chance of building any kind of relationship. Respect is the foundation that shows others that they are important to us and we appreciate them for who they are. Some people believe that respect should be earned while others believe you start off by showing respect to others and it is up to how your treated by them that they either keep your respect or lose the respect you've given them. People who desire your respect believe that there are may ways of getting it but the solution is simple "Treat people how you want to be treated". If you want to be respected simply show it to the people you desire respect from.
